Petrus du Plessis: 'We shouldn't be at the bottom of the table'
The London Irish prop feels the Exiles are better than their current league position.
Petrus du Plessis feels the performances have been good, despite losing twelve consecutive league matches.
"We showed the rest of the Premiership we can play rugby [in defeat to Leicester Tigers]," du Plessis told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams. "We can be physical.
"We shouldn't be at the bottom of the table.
"Previous games show that we have made clinical mistakes, and that is where we are."
And du Plessis knew that Leicester Tigers were going to be dangerous as Irish lost the match 19-15.
"We knew what the challenge was...the forwards fronted up really well today.
"From our point of view, our systems are in place, defensively we were really good today as well."
