It is time to say goodbye to 2017 and get ready for what 2018 has to offer our news feeds. Before we leave let's take a look at some of the stories of this year. The Reuters news agency has put together a shortlist of their best images from 2017. Rickey Rogers is Reuters Global Picture Editor, he has the mammoth task of choosing which images they will offer news outlets and this year he has been through over 750,000 images. James Menendez spoke to him about what makes an image newsworthy.
