"Without making art, I can't deal with life"
Aaron Fowler grew up in a racially divided, poor part of St Louis, but he defied the odds and made it to an Ivy League school to study art. His work is now exhibited in galleries around the world, including Los Angeles, New York, and London. He tells Outlook how art became his coping mechanism, and why he uses it to pay tribute to his friends and family.
