The Afghan former child refugee on helping those back home

Waheed Arian is a former Afghan child refugee. He fled war at the age of 15, defied the odds to get to the top of his profession as a doctor, and chose to put his career on hold to help people back in his homeland. He’s established a network of around one hundred volunteer doctors and consultants in the West, who give free advice to hospitals in war zones. He described what motivated him to help people back home.
