Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Minute: On Mogadishu's only ambulance service
More than 500 people were killed in the Somali capital on 14 October 2017 after a bomb attack was carried out using a truck packed with explosives. In the immediate aftermath of the attack, people from around the world donated thousands of dollars to support the work of the only ambulance service in Mogadishu. Dr Abdulkadir Adan, a dentist by profession, explains what inspired him to start the voluntary service ten years ago.
