Councils in Northamptonshire have invested almost 拢90m in external property deals, the 麻豆约拍 has discovered.
The investments are one way in which local authorities are hoping to fill the government funding gap.
In the past three years alone, the county's eight local authorities have invested more than 拢30m in property.
In all, councils are bringing in almost 拢7m a year.
Chief executives up and down the county will also be hopeful the properties will eventually sell for more than was originally paid for them.
