
Rebecca Front: Registry office is the "perfect" setting for new drama
Rebecca Front has told 5 live a registry office is the "perfect" setting for Kay Mellor's new drama Love, Lies and Records.
She said it is open to "wonderful storylines" because "all human life is there".
She added: "Another thing that I hadn't really thought about is that citizenship ceremonies take place in registry offices and also things like the early stages of investigations into possible sham marriages."
About Kay Mellor's writing for the first episode she said: "She sets a whole load of plates spinning and I think it will draw people in to come back and watch more."
