Grassroots parent: 'There are some parents who can't pay Β£160 per season'
The mother of a football-mad eight-year-old compares the provision of coaching available to her son in football, cricket and tennis.
Speaking on a 606 grassroots football special, Nicky told Robbie Savage: "The Lawn Tennis Association gave my boy free tennis lessons over the last couple of months.
"The English Cricket Board have offered free cricket to get the boys and girls playing at grassroots level. They're doing it, and yet for my son to have any type of FA Skills training over the last two or three months, they've actually had to pay.
"There are some parents out there who, unfortunately, can't pay the Β£160 per season to do this."
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 606 contacted the FA for comment, but were told that no-one was available to take part in the programme.
