As a friend I'm pleased for Bilic - Wright
Ian Wright is βpleasedβ for his friend Slaven Bilic that he can βget awayβ from West Ham after being sacked as manager of the Premier League side.
Bilic has been under pressure after a poor start to the season and leaves the club in the relegation zone, but Wright says the break will be good for the Croat.
"I'm pleased for him, knowing him and knowing what he's been going through. I just think for himself and his health he needs a break from it,β said Wright.
The former Arsenal striker says Bilic will be pleased that the continued speculation about his future has ended, adding: "You can't work like that. You're always a couple of games from the sack and then you're OK. I'm pleased for his sake that he can get a break from it and get on with it."
