A chat and a beer with Mr and Mrs Martin Luther
Luther sparked the Reformation - but also laid the groundwork for modern German. His translation of the Bible provided the template from which today's language developed. German language professor Ruth Sanders wonders what it would be like to go back in time to talk to Luther and his beer-brewing wife.
