Airlines fear being grounded by Brexit stalemate
Europe's airlines are worried that the lack of progress in talks between the UK and European Union to smooth the British exit from the bloc threatens to undermine aviation.
Airlines operating from the UK benefit from the EU's open skies arrangement, but as the aviation consultant John Strickland tells the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Russell Padmore, a deal is needed long before the March 2019 Brexit deadline, because airlines often sell tickets a year in advance.
