Journey out of hell: a drug muleβs story
A young Bangladesh man who was sold into slavery and forced to work as a drug mule in Scotland has become a symbol of hope for young people who are facing a similar fate.
Abdul Mkith was fostered by a couple from Wick after he was caught up in a drugs bust in Ullapool when he was only fourteen. He's written a book about his life's journey and the extreme torture he had to endure at the hands of drugs gangs. Jackie O'Brien's visited him in his adopted homeland of Caithness to hear more of his remarkable story.
