Former Work and Pensions Secretary Stephen Crabb has told the Westminster Hour that the lag issue linked to Universal Credit rollout "has been addressed", and that the Conservatives are “doing it a careful staged way" with "lessons being learned on the way."
Shadow Business Minister Jack Dromey challenged this, asking why the rollout was not being paused and warning that "tens of thousands will suffer as a consequence".
