Radio Catalunya reporter Ernest Macia believes Barcelona would "lose potential" if they competed in a Catalan football league.

Catalonia's separatist government recently staged a referendum on leaving Spain - against the wishes of the national authorities.

Ersnest said on the Euro Leagues Podcast that, should Barcelona leave La Liga, they would become like Celtic in terms of the level of domestic competition they would face.
