It’s a question 5 live’s Ciaran Tracey set out to answer during eight weeks with the White Collar Fighters of Manchester.
First-time boxer Andrew Findlay is a college teacher in his every-day life. He said turning 35 had been the catalyst for getting into the ring.
“You know when you think ‘I’ve put a bit of weight on? I got quite fat and I just thought ‘this is me accepting late 30s’â€
So how did mild-mannered Andrew face against another man’s fists?
