Sampson sacking ‘painful’ for FA
The FA’s Head of Women’s Football Baroness Sue Campbell has admitted that Mark Sampson’s sacking has been a hurtful episode for her organisation. Sampson was sacked for inappropriate behaviour with his female players while at his previous job at Bristol Academy. Campbell though is ‘100 per cent hopeful’ that senior figures, including chief executive Martin Glenn won’t lose their jobs over the ongoing crisis at the game’s governing body
