Reading FC: Stam struggling for strikers
The Royals boss admits he has to work with what he has until the January transfer window.
Jaap Stam tried to bring in another striker during the summer, but failed late in the window, meaning Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is the only fit, first team striker at the club.
"We need to do it with the players we have," Stam told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "Towards the end of the transfer market we were still working on another striker.
"We need to do it with the players we have, and we need to find a way so that we can go forward, create opportunities, and score goals."
And Stam knows how much of a threat recently relegated Hull City will pose this weekend.
"Another big game, against a big side who came down from the Premier League.
"Especially at home we want to have the result, you want to go for the win...that's what we'll be trying to do on Saturday too."
