Jenas: Palace need to stick to what they're good at

Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas reacts to Crystal Palace sacking Frank de Boer after just 77 days.

According to the former England international, Palace were never going to succeed with de Boer in charge.

"It's Crystal Palace, you do what you're good at. You get the place absolutely rocking. This whole 'let's change our ethos', and do what? Become Ajax and pop the ball about and play triangles all over the place? That is not what you're ever going to be."

Jenas says that Palace need to 'work harder' like teams in the past at Selhurst Park, adding: "Historically, going to Selhurst Park was always hard. Maybe they worked harder, they did make it difficult putting balls into the box, making you have to do all the horrible stuff in the game that you maybe don't want to do."
