Where is Ghana's economy heading?
Ghana's economy has struggled in recent years, but some analysts are saying there are a few positive signs. For example, inflation is slowly coming down and foreign reserves are nudging higher. The IMF has also extended its credit facility and oversight on the country's economy for another year.
But huge challenges remain and some have warned that the runaway government spending, which contributed to Ghana's economic woes in the first place, still needs to be reined in further.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Lerato Mbele sat down with Ghana's Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta.
