Hurricane Harvey: Developments in Forecasting Models
In the context of Hurricane Harvey, the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (ECMWF) was notably accurate at predicting it four days before it hit Houston. Director Florence Rabier explains to our presenter Roland Pease how improvements in forecasting models come about.
