Fifty years since The Beatles came to Bangor

Fifty years ago today, The Beatles arrived in Bangor. They came for a conference on Transcendental Meditation, and attracted huge crowds when they arrived in the city at short notice. While they were there they found out their manager Brian Epstein had died. It was an event which some say marked the beginning of the end for the group. It also meant their time in Bangor would be remembered as a key moment in their careers.
Chris Dearden looks back.
