Gary Numan's rise to the top was meteoric, but his fall was just as quick. But after time in the wilderness, recent years have seen Numan stage a remarkable comeback.

His new album, Savage: Songs From a Broken World finds us looking at a planet ravaged by the effects of climate change, and we sent our own resident Numanoid Steven Rainey to brave the elements鈥�
