Featuring Resound: a musical tribute to Alan Surtees

This is the weekend of Shrewsbury Folk Festival. We remember founder Alan Surtees.

This is the weekend of Shrewsbury Folk Festival- the first since the death of founder and director Alan Surtees. In memory of Alan, Hannah James has set up the Alan Surtees Trust, which will give out grants and support to young and emerging musicians and new projects. Hannah has created a CD - Resound - to raise funds for the trust. The tracks on this album are all donated by artists who have had strong links with the festival and some are songs which Hannah knows were favourites of Alan’s.
