Reading FC: Swift wants to get even better
The Royals midfielder wants to use play-off final heartache to improve this season.
After signing a new contract with the club, Swift wants to kick on with Reading FC.
"It's a big achievement for me," he told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ South Today's Andy Moon. "To get the five years and try and show my faith back to Reading.
"I've had a good year so hopefully I will have a lot more."
And Swift has admitted whilst it was difficult at the start of the summer whilst he was playing for the England Under 21s, the pain of the play-off final defeat can be used in a productive way.
"It was hard, but I just tried to keep my mind off it...it might have been a bit harder for the other boys going away on holiday and still thinking about it.
"We showed what we can do last season so we're going to go into this season and try and get even better."
