Pakistan was founded as a homeland for the Muslims of the Indian sub-continent, but religion, nationality and gender have caused faultlines in the region.
For women, Pakistan is one of the most dangerous countries in the world to live in and yet it has also spawned a thriving womenβs rights movement with thousands of activists such as Tanveer Jahan, βSocietal transformation,β she says, βis a very, very long struggleβ.
