Breastfeeding in places of worship
Have you ever been stopped from breastfeeding your child in a place of worship ? Should it be easier in a Gurdwara or Mandir or a Mosque? Ruby Saund struggled to breastfeed her daughter in a Gurdwara, and was told to go do it in the toilet - standing up. Shazia speaks to mother Ruby and Professor Neena Modi, President of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health who says women should be able to breastfeed where they want to. Shazia also speaks to Sukhvinder Kaur, representing the Sikh Council UK, who says that there should be no issues with women breastfeeding in a Sikh Temple.
