Stephen Hough on Britten's Serenade for Tenor Horn and Strings

Radio 3 In Tune guest, concert pianist and composer Stephen Hough, champions the Nocturne from Benjamin Britten's 'Serenade for Tenor Horn and Strings' Op. 31 as his Queer Icon.

The performance heard here is by Britten's partner, the Tenor Peter Pears, with Denis Brain on Horn, and the New Symphony Orchestra conducted by Eugene Goossens.
