Isaac Julien on Derek Jarman's Caravaggio
For our Queer Icons series, Isaac Julien champions Derek Jarman's film about the Renaissance artist Caravaggio.
Caravaggio (1986) stars Dexter Fletcher as the young painter and Nigel Terry as his older self. It is also the film debut of Tilda Swinton and Sean Bean.
Issac Julien is a Turner prize-nominated artist whose work includes the drama-documentary Looking for Langston.
