Peaty is a lion that needs feeding – coach

Adam Peaty's coach Mel Marshall offers an insight into what motivates the Olympic champion.

Briton Peaty is aiming to be the first swimmer to go under 57 seconds in the 100m breaststroke - something he has dubbed 'project 56'.

The 22-year-old has dominated the event and holds the world record of 57.13 seconds, set at Rio 2016.

Marshall said: "He is a lion. You have to put the meat in front of him for him to go and hunt."
