European Investigation Busts Horsemeat Racket

Over 60 people have been arrested in Spain following a four-year investigation.

Over 60 people have been arrested in Spain accused of involvement in the sale of horse-meat across Europe. The scandal is a part of the continuing investigation that has been rolling across the continent since 2013, when it first emerged that horse-meat was, in places, being disguised as beef or was unfit for human consumption. Chris Van Steenkiste, the head of Europol's intellectual property crime unit, talks about the investigation that has covered eight countries.
