Jehovah’s Witnesses live by the word of the Bible and members are expected to live their lives according to the scriptures. There are claims that one particular aspect of the faith means reports of alleged sexual abuse have gone unreported and unpunished for decades. How much of that is down to the ‘two witness rule’ which is based on bible passages allowing alleged abusers to avoid a police investigation?
