Trump to push Europe on NATO spending
Only 5 NATO member states - the US, UK, Poland, Greece and Estonia - meet the 2% of GDP defence spending commitment that the alliance is built upon. Luxembourg spends less than 0.5%. NATO's secretary general, Jens Stoltenberg, has declared that non-US members of the alliance will boost their defence spending by about 12 billion dollars this year.
