The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain cut diplomatic ties with Qatar three weeks ago. They've severed transport links and disrupted trade. Now, in an interview with the British newspaper the Guardian, the UAE's ambassador to Moscow, Omar Ghobash, threatened Qatar with more sanctions. That may include asking their trading partners to choose between them or Qatar. The 麻豆约拍's Mike Johnson asks Mohammed Sergie, a reporter for the Bloomberg news group in the Qatari capital Doha, if the latest threats should be taken seriously.
