The spirits drinks giant Diageo is buying a Mexican beverage with Hollywood glamour.

George Clooney, the nightclub entrepreneur Rande Gerber, who is married to model Cindy Crawford and property developer Mike Meldman have agreed to continue promoting Casamigos Tequila, after the sale.

The three friends, who founded the brand in 2013, could make a billion dollars from the deal over 10 years.
