Measuring eels in West London
Every year thousands of eels travel from the Sargasso Sea to Europe and back. Due to climate change and human activities though, the European Eel is now a critically endangered species. So on the river Brent in West London there are a group of 'citizen scientists' taking part in an eel conservation programme run by the Zoological Society of London. We went down to meet eel enthusiast Terry Jones and Joe Pecorelli, the biologist leading the project.
