Jones: 'Players should be picked on merit, not geography'

England head coach Eddie Jones believes some of his players have missed out on Lions call-ups purely because of geography.

At least five Wales and Scotland players are expected to receive call-ups to the Lions tour of New Zealand this week.

England complete their tour of Argentina on Saturday, while Wales and Scotland are both in Australasia for their summer test series.
