Is Gay Pride missing at Abercrombie and Fitch?
The US garment maker Abercrombie and Fitch has stirred up an internet firestorm after it sent a message out on Twitter which seemed to say Gay Pride is not just for gay people.
The tweet, which has since been deleted, read: "The Pride community is everybody, not just LGBTQ people. - Kayla, merchandiser."
June is being celebrated as Pride Month around the world and Abercrombie was trying to promote its latest limited edition brand in a tie-up with The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention hotline for young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Matt Cain, the Editor in Chief of Attitude magazine, has been telling the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ why Abercrombie and Fitch should have been more sensitive.
