As part of the Halley Relocation Project, the team remove the bridge which connects the two ends of the station. Although it looks simple, this is actually one of the key pieces of infrastructure at Halley as all of the services – from water pipes to electrical cables run through the bridge. If it isn’t done right, the station might not be able to be restarted at the new site.
