Gary Bowyer: Blackpool promotion ‘exceeded my expectations’

Blackpool have secured promotion to EFL League One following a 2 -1 win against Exeter City in the League Two play-off final at Wembley.

Manager Gary Bowyer, who has only been in his role since June 2016 following their relegation to League Two, said the promotion had ‘exceeded his expectations’ and praised the staff and players at the club.
