Is America's retail sector in crisis?

In the last few months 90,000 jobs have been cut as stores have closed across the United States, because retailers are losing sales to competitors on the internet.

The retail sector accounts for 10% of jobs in America, so if shops are axing so many people it could soon have an impact on the world's biggest economy.

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Samira Hussain went shopping in New York to find out why so many stores are shutting up shop.
