Reading FC: Stam content with away draw
The Royals boss Jaap Stam says that taking a draw back to the Madejski is a good result.
Reading FC drew 1-1 away to Fulham ahead of the return leg of the play-off semi-final on Tuesday evening.
"I think it's always good if you get at least a draw," he told the assembled media after the game at Craven Cottage. "Everybody knows coming over here is not the easiest of games."
And Stam agreed with the referee that McShane's tackle deserved a sending off.
"It was a card, he touched the player, but not deliberately.
"He's fair, he wants to go for the ball, and I don't know if it was Johansen or who it was, but he just tapped that ball away from him and that's why he hit the player."
