Two in three people fail job interviews over nerves
Applying for a new job is so stressful that 65% of people say that nerves get the better of them in interviews, which leads to them failing to get the job.
According to a survey by the recruitment firm Total Jobs, one in ten interviewees admitted they fear questions like "why should I hire you?" or "what is you biggest weakness?"
It could mean companies are missing out on hiring good staff simply because candidates are nervous during the interview.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Russell Padmore found out how to be calm at interviews from Dr Linda Papadopoulos, a psychologist who provides expert advice to job seekers.
