Phone scam targets Indians in Britain
A phone scam is targeting Indians living in Britain, with fraudsters phoning them up pretending to be the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Office. They con people out of cash and sometimes threaten them with deportation. The Indian High Commission has now posted advice on its website. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Rahul Joglekar meets some of the people who are fooled into thinking the calls are genuine.
