The Inquiry: Did the Format Change Work?
Richard Knight, the editor of The Inquiry, explains to a disgruntled listener why he decided to drop the well-known four-guest format for a one-off episode.
The Inquiry is a weekly current affairs programme which takes one pressing question and tries to get to the bottom of it with the help of four expert guests. In a recent episode of The Inquiry presenter, Ruth Alexander asked Is Inequality About To get Unimaginably Worse? Only this time instead of the usual four witnesses, she only had one to help her answer the question. For listener, Diana Holbourn this bold move did not pay off. On this week’s Over To You The Inquiry Editor, Richard Knight addresses Diana’s concerns directly.
Also, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World Service network manager, Murray Holgate speaks to Kenyan listener, Cornelius Kimutai about the reasons he is not able to access the full two hours of news programme on OS.
