'We have defeated a Chadian dictator'
An appeals court in Senegal has upheld the life sentence given to Chad's former leader Hissene Habre for war crimes, crimes against humanity and torture. The ruling was issued by a special court set up by the African Union. Victims of atrocities committed under Habre welcomed the court decision. Souleymane Guengueng is a Chadian who was imprisoned and tortured in Chad back in the 1980s. He was in Dakar to hear the court's decision - and later on - spoke to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Newsday.
