Asian care homes for the elderly
A few decades ago, Asian immigrants in the UK would have never admitted their elderly into care homes. A feeling of duty towards the old and cultural barriers meant that care homes were not an option for ageing Asian parents.
But now, younger Asians are opting to use the services of a new kind of care home for their parents. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Asian Network's Rahul Joglekar has paid them a visit.
