Gravy

A goat is bored of eating grass, but will he enjoy the food at a restaurant?

This episode's chapter words are: Goat/Restaurant/Anchovies/Vegetables/Yuck. A goat gets bored with eating grass and dandelions, and decides he wants to discover new flavours. Escaping from his field, he finds a restaurant in a nearby village, where he discovers that people eat food that he REALLY doesn’t like! He tries anchovies first, which are far too salty and fishy. After that, he orders some sausages and vegetables, but they turn up steaming hot which is nothing like the grass he’s used to. Will it be made any more appealing by the strange, brown sauce that the waiter brings over?
This series uses five-letter words as a framework for fun storytelling, as well as supporting spelling development, word association and learning interesting facts. Cindy and her dog, Deefa, navigate little listeners through the stories, inspiring children to create their own using the same framework. #CBeebiesRadio
