Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayoral Election 2017: Paul Bullen
Next month sees the start of a new chapter for the people of Cambridgeshire as they elect their first ever mayor.
The region has been given extra powers under a new Β£800m devolution deal.
Powers over housing and transport will be transferred away from Whitehall to the new mayor.
Seven candidates are in the running and they'll be telling us why they should be elected during the next week.
Paul Bullen is UKIP's candidate. The former RAF officer and magistrate says he'll prioritise local people for local homes.
He spoke to political reporter Mousumi Bakshi.
The full list of candidates are:
Paul Bullen - UKIP
Rod Cantrill - Liberal Democrats
Peter Dawe - Independent
Stephen Goldspink - English Democrats
