How parkour will get you really fit
Parkour is now an official sport, it’s recognised by the UK’s national sporting body. It grew out of military training. Competitors have to run an obstacle course as quickly as they can, they can’t use equipment to help but they can jump, climb, vault and hang from things. Teenagers have been taking this up after seeing some spectacular videos online. Parkour clubs are now expanding across the UK and schools are starting to offer classes. Rick Kelsey went to an old sugar warehouse to the Docklands of East London.
