Inspirational art or a hint at suicide?

Sir Antony Gormley describes it as a "work designed to be placed within the flow of lived time".

Others of a more prosaic bent, say his statue, which is placed on the edge of the roof of the library at the University of East Anglia, rather looks like someone about to commit suicide.

The university in Norwich, said the work was "thought provoking" and offered both "spectacle and surprise", which is undeniably true as Chris Mason discovered when he chatted to two students there, Megan Baynes, and Caitlin Doherty.
